Getting there
West End
Subway to Hillhead (for Byres Road, Ashton Lane and the Botanic Gardens, about a 7-minute walk) or Kelvinbridge. Kelvinhall is best for Kelvingrove.
Southside
Train from Glasgow Central to Pollokshaws West (about 10 minutes) for Pollok Country Park and the Burrell Collection, or to Queen's Park or Shawlands. Shields Road is the nearest Subway stop to the Southside.
Dennistoun
There's no Subway in the East End. Take the train to Bellgrove, Duke Street or Alexandra Parade, or walk about 20 minutes from George Square past the Cathedral.
Finnieston
Train to Exhibition Centre (low-level line via Glasgow Central) for the SEC and Hydro, or Subway to Kelvinhall for the western end of Argyle Street.
Partick
Partick station has both the Subway and trains, and the bus station is at the same interchange. The Riverside Museum is about 0.6 miles away on a signposted footpath.
