Last checked 23 October 2026 against SPT, which runs the Subway, and independent reports.
Opening hours
- Monday–Saturday
- 06:30–23:40
- Sunday
- 10:00–18:12. Plan your Sunday evening around this early close.
SPT has approved later hours (Sundays 06:30–23:30, and Friday and Saturday until 00:30). They are expected in 2027, once modernisation work is finished. Until then, the hours above apply.
⚑ Flagged: SPT lists the last Mon–Sat trains as Govan 23:16 and St Enoch 23:28 (inner) / 23:30 (outer). Wikipedia gives Govan as 23:15, so treat these as approximate and check SPT on the night.
⚑ Flagged: SPT says trains run every 4 minutes at peak and every 6–8 minutes off-peak, and that a full circuit takes 24 minutes. We haven't found an independent current source for these figures.
