Getting to Ibrox
Ibrox Stadium (150 Edmiston Drive, G51 2XD) is on the Subway, which makes it easy, except on a Sunday evening. Checked on Rangers FC and SPT pages on 21 Oct 2026.
The short version
- Subway to Ibrox. After the game, walk to Cessnock or Govan (both under a mile) to dodge the queue.
- Sunday: the Subway runs 10am–6.12pm only. Late Sunday kick-off? Plan another way home.
- Bus: First Glasgow 9 and 9A to Paisley Road West.
- Train: Dumbreck is under a mile; Cardonald (1.5 miles) for Renfrewshire, Ayrshire and Inverclyde.
- No general matchday parking to buy at the gate.
By Subway
- Hours: Mon–Sat 6.30am–11.40pm, Sunday 10am–6.12pm; trains every four minutes at peak, every six to eight off-peak (SPT). Adult singles from £1.80.
- Contactless works at the gates. Rangers reminds fans to tap in and out with the same card or device so you're charged the right fare.
- Rangers: Ibrox station can be exceptionally busy after the match, but Cessnock and Govan are both under a mile away and run back to the city centre.
By bus
- Rangers: First Glasgow 9 (Glasgow – Paisley) and 9A (Glasgow – Penilee or Braehead) run regularly from the city centre to Paisley Road West, a short walk from the stadium. The club quotes about 13 minutes and fares from £2.65.
- Rangers also says First Bus and McGill's both run Paisley Road West services, but post-match traffic slows them down.
By train
- Rangers: Dumbreck station is under a mile from the stadium, with trains back to the city centre.
- Heading to Renfrewshire, Ayrshire or Inverclyde? Rangers points to Cardonald, 1.5 miles away, with direct trains or one change at Paisley Gilmour Street.
- Check times on the ScotRail app or a journey planner on the day.
Driving and parking
- Rangers currently can't offer general supporter parking to buy or pay at the gate, because of reduced on-site capacity. Those with stadium parking enter via Broomloan Road.
- Glasgow City Council enforces a pavement parking ban.
- Bike racks are at the Copland and Broomloan stands. Supporters' buses have designated parking on Helen Street (west) and Govan Road/Woodville Street/Carmichael Street (east).
- The stadium is cashless: kiosks take cards only.
